RGB-3 video modules transmit ultra-high-resolution, computer-generated video signals that comply with RS-170 and RS-343A standards.The units are completely transparent and support full-color RGB graphics,with interlaced (2:1) 640 x 512 pixels and 1280 x 1024 pixels (30 Hz),and noninterlaced (1:1) 640 x 512 pixels and 1280 x 1024 pixels (60 Hz).Fiber-optic Opticomm data link modules remote one RGB workstation orthree monochrome video display workstations, including data at variousdistance options (up to 10, ft.) from the graphics controller. TheRGB/data video module, RGB-3, is equipped with three individual RGBvideo I/O signals and external sync. Opticomm units come with built-inautomatic gain control (AGC), which maintains video output for each colorat the receiver end, and a dc baseline restoration, which stabilizes thevideo signals. The functions result in a true reproduction of input RGBsource, accurate color brightness, and stability. RGB-3 permits full-duplex, interactive data transmission with one or two independent RS-232asynchronous channels.
